Hopefully by the time you read this tickets aren’t all gone — I just tossed a pair back into the pool after seeing if they were even available, so hey, there’s two for ya, anyway. But if you act fast enough — and, you know, actually like Nickelback – you can see the mega-platinum Canadians in a free mini-concert this Sunday afternoon, Oct. 12, at the still-pretty-fabulous Forum.
Chad Kroeger (pictured, at Fashion Rocks) and the boys will reportedly perform “several songs” live and also shoot a video for “Gotta Be Somebody,” the just-released first single off their next inevitably inescapable monster album, Dark Horse, due Nov. 18 on Roadrunner Records. The disc was co-produced by the band and Def Leppard’s former go-to man, Mutt Lange.
How do you score tickets to this sneak peek at the group’s next world tour? Simple: Just click here and register for ‘em. There’s a 10-ticket limit — rather generous for a giveaway, eh? Show time is 4 p.m., doors open an hour earlier. Good luck.
