sandlerjames.jpgYou NEVER know who might show up at the Irvine Improv.

Saturday night during Kevin Nealon’s performance Adam Sandler and Kevin James moseyed into the Improv to support their friend.

According to one comedy fan, during Nealon’s 11 p.m. show James did a short guest set, then introduced Sandler as “a guy you may have seen on MTV’s Remote Control” — and the crowd went insane.

Sandler is preparing for a new movie that involves stand-up, so he ran some new material by the surprised audience. He hasn’t performed on stage in more than a decade.

The lesson here, people: STAY FOR THE LATE SHOW and PAY ATTENTION!

Yup good times, I was there front and center. Sandler was a little shaky at first but quickly gained his foothold.
