Our resident pop-punk fanatic Niyaz Pirani headed out to Pacific Amphitheatre last night to catch Paramore once more before the band wraps up its lengthy breakthrough tour and settles in to record a new album. Rather than rehash what they’ve been doing since last year, however, Hayley Williams and her Tennessee pals changed up their set considerably, while Andrew McMahon and opening act Jack’s Mannequin also delivered something new, serving up slices from their next album, The Glass Passenger, due Sept. 30. Even newcomer Paper Route impressed, he says. Read the full review and see pics here, or click for set lists.
